Joining Windows 10 to Windows Server 2016 Domain

Step 1

Navigate to Windows 2016 Server

Open Command Prompt and type ipconfig. Note down the PIv4 IP Address, Subnet Mast and Default Gateway

Step 2

1.Go to Windows 10 PC — Client Workstation

2.Open Network and Internet Settings

3.Click on Ethernet> Change Adapter Settings

4.Right Click on Ethernet and click on Propeties

5.Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)

6.Click on Properties

7.Follow the screenshot as shown below for configuring Windows 10 Machine

Click on the Radio Button as shown in the image
Enter the IP Address of the Windows Server as DNS Server Addresses

Step 8

In the Windows 10 Machine: Search for Access Work or School

Step 9

Click on Connect

Step 10

Select Join this device to a local active directory domain

Step 11

Enter the Domain Name what was configured in Windows 2016 Server
